Crackonomics is a Grassroots Movement to Change US Drug Policy

Is The War on Drugs a Failure?

Three out of four Americans participating in a recent survey (see article) believe the War on Drugs is a failure. However, it is not politically acceptable to have a public debate on Drug Policy (see article).

Drug Prohibition provides a financial motive for dealers to sell drugs to our children. If we want to put a stop to the unintended consequences of Drug Prohibition, we need to get involved and send a message to our politicians that we want them to develop new approaches to solving drug abuse.

To create awareness of the unintended consequences of Drug Prohibition, Crackonomics is holding a short film contest with a $10,000 first prize and a music video contest with a prize of $5,000. To obtain more details, see the Contest section.

Lets get our politicians working for us to make our society a better place to live.

Check out the Action section to see how you can get involved.
